Title:
SUPERELECTROMAGNETIC PUMP
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63136952
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To allow conductive fluid such as sea water, etc., to be sent out without using an impeller or a motor, by forming the magnetic field in the direction of a right angle to the flow of conductive fluid with superconductive magnet and by further forming an electric field with an electric pair, etc.

CONSTITUTION: Multiple superconductive magnets 2 are provided at the upper and lower parts of a flat dome type housing main body 1 respectively. Electrode plates 3 are provided on both sides of the housing main body 1 face to face each other. Magnetic field is formed in the direction of x by the superconductive magnets 2 under the condition where the conductive fluid is introduced into this housing main body 1, while DC voltage is applied across the electrode plates 3 to form the electric field in the direction of y. The conductive fluid is thereby pushed forward according to Fleming's left-hand rule.
