Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support arrangement making an angle of articulated connection no disadvantageous when an axle rotates, preventing the occurrence of torsion vibration in an articulated connection shaft, preventing the reduction of service life, and necessitating no additional link element when the articulated connection shaft is directly supported on the axle.
SOLUTION: This support arrangement for a divided articulated connection shaft for a motor vehicle is provided with at least one driving axle 2 and at least one non-driving supporting axle 1, the articulated connection shaft 11 is supported in the vicinity of the non-driving axle 1 so that it passes the non- driving axle 1 and follows substantially vertical travel of the non-driving axle 1, and this axle is supported at the center of a frame 5 of a motor vehicle in the frame 5 by an axle support unit 4. The articulated connection shaft 11 is supported on the support unit 4 at the center of the axle to prevent lateral shift and torsion of the shaft 11.
