PURPOSE: To reduce the transmission of the vibration of engine by supporting the rear portion of engine by axial compressing force of two rods.
CONSTITUTION: The shaft 5 is mounted approximately horizontally through mount rubber 4 to the bracket 1. The upper ends 6a of rod 6 are fitted to both ends of the shaft 5 while the lower end of rod 6 is coupled through bushing 9 such as rubber to the bracket 8 secured to the side member 7 such as frame, and the rear section of engine or transmission case 3 is supported by gate structure constructed of a rod 6 inclining downwardly and a shaft 5 to the side member 7. Since the rear portion of engine is supported by the axial compressing force of rod 6, the vibration of engine is received by the axial force of rod 6 and the amplitude is reduced by mount rubber 4, and bush 9 thus to reduce the transmission of vibration.
