Abstract:
PURPOSE:Not to apply an excessive load to prime mover side bearings, by a method wherein the free end on the non-connecting side of the rotary shaft for the rotor for a rotary electric machine is pivotally supported with a bearing of elastic supporting mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A free end on the non-connecting side of a rotary shaft 7 is pivotally supported with a bearing 8. In order words, a rotor 6 is pivotally supported with a prime mover side bearings 5a near a rotary electric machine and with the bearing 8 on the rotary electric machine side, and so the bearing load of the prime mover side bearing 5a can be reduced. And the bearing 8 on the rotary electric machine side is organized with elastic supporting mechanism, and so the relative displacement between the prime mover 1 and the rotary machine 2 is made negligible, and the rotary electric machine 2 can be arranged not to receive an excessive force.
