Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject suppressor, comprising a specific compound, having suppressing action on the production of 12-hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid in a vascular wall and inhibiting and suppressing action on the hyperplasia of the intima, excellent in therapeutic effects and useful for preventing arteriosclerosis, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The objective suppressor comprises N-[(E)-3-(3-phenoxyphenyl) prop-2-enyl]acetohydroxamic acid. Furthermore, the daily dose of this suppressor for an adult is preferably 20-200mg.
