PURPOSE: To improve camber rigidity of a rear wheel on a turning outer wheel side of a double wishbone type suspension device by making a connection point of an upper link with a hub carrier situated behind a car body connection point of the upper link, on the rear part of a vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: A connection point of an upper link 3 of a double wishbone type suspension device provided on a rear wheel 1 side with a hub carrier 2 is situated behind a connection point B with its car body, on the rear part of a vehicle. When lateral force in the horizontal direction of the vehicle is input from a turning outer wheel side rear wheel 1 due to bounding, the upper link 3 comes forward of the vehicle around the car body connection point B, and is directed almost in the horizontal direction of the vehicle until it is turned in the same direction as that of the lateral force, and camber rigidity of the rear wheel 1 is thus improved.
