Title:
SUSPENSION FOR ENGINE LATERALLY INSTALLED
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH061151
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a suspension which reduces a noise level more than that by the prior art and can mitigate torque shock at the time of sudden acceleration/deceleration.

CONSTITUTION: In a suspension which is equipped with a front mount 7 and a rear mount 9 in the vehicle longitudinal direction of a laterally installed engine main body, for example, openings at a rear roll stopper 10 are formed without forming openings at the elastic material of a front roll stopper 8, and thereby the elastic coefficient of the front mount 7 becomes larger than the elastic coefficient of the rear mount 9 in a case in which the rolling displacement of an engine 1 is less than a predetermined value, and when the rolling displacement is more than the predetermined value, the size relation is reversed.
