Abstract:
PURPOSE: To absorb shocks applied to a pair of axles and divide the load equally to the axles in a suspension for a dump truck or the like by arranging a suspension cylinder and an arm almost triangularly on a car body.
CONSTITUTION: An equalizer bar 9 is linked between a pair of axles 7F and 7R provided on a car body 1, and an arm 11 is pivotted on the equalizer bar 9. A suspension cylinder 15 is pivotted on the arm 11, and the suspension cylinder 15 and the arm 11 are respectively linked to the car body 1 almost to make a triangle. This construction permits to absorb shocks given to the pair of axles 7F and 7R and divide the load equally to the pair of axles 7F and 7R, thus making the suspension cylinder 15 compact and small-sized.
