Abstract:
PURPOSE:To smooth travelling on a curved road by connecting pivotally a vertical shaft pivotably operated by a pneumatic drive lever to a walking beam provided before and after a through shaft in the suspension of a multiple axle vehicle and arranging pivotably trunion shafts. CONSTITUTION:An air chamber 22 is operated in such a manner that a pin 23 engages and disengages from a lever 20. When the pin 23 engages the lever 20, a trunion shaft 2 does not pivot and when the pin 23 disengages from the lever 20, the trunion shaft 2 pivots freely about a vertical shaft 8. Thus, when the lever 20 engages the pin 23, the trunion shaft 2 travels securely straight and when the pin 23 disengages from the lever 20 the travelling on a curved road is ensured. The pin 23 disengaged by the advance and retreat selects the rear or front portion. Thus, the travelling on the curved road is carried out securely.
