Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension arm attachment structure which makes it possible to ensure weight reduction and durability.
SOLUTION: In this suspension arm attachment structure, one end of a suspension arm is attached to a cross member 1 which is extended in a body-width direction Y of a body by which it is supported. The cross member is integrally joined with a cross member upper plate 7 and a cross member lower plate 8 so as to form a closed sectional surface. Either the cross member upper plate 7 or the cross member lower plate 8 is expanded inward so as to form an expanded portion. Walls 701, 702 of the other, which are opposed in the longitudinal direction of the body, are overlaid on the expanded portion so as to form a front double wall wf and a rear double wall wr. Then, the one end of the suspension arm is attached in a space e between the front double wall wf and the rear double wall wr.
