Abstract:
To provide a switch reluctance motor capable of protecting flux leakage and obtaining a higher reliability than a conventional one while shortening a magnetic path by means of a magnetic circuit which concentrates a magnetic flux at a point with higher magnetic field strength around an exciting pole of a rotor.SOLUTION: A switch reluctance motor 1 comprises a rotor 4 in which rotor salient poles 4a, 4b, 4c are arranged at constant intervals in the circumferential direction around an output axis 3, stator 5 in which stator salient poles 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d are arranged at constant intervals in the circumferential direction around the output axis 3, and windings 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d collectively wound around each of these stator salient poles. Adjacent salient poles in each stator salient poles 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d are constructed so that wound directions of each winding 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d are opposed to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
