Abstract:
To provide a switched reluctance motor.
In the switched reluctance motor, a position detection part capable of detecting the rotational position of a rotor is formed in a balance member being bonded to the rotor, and a sensor is located at a position corresponding thereto and formed on the cover surface on the inside of the motor housing. Since the sensor is located in the motor housing, the sensor is protected and reliability of detection of the rotational position of the rotor by the sensor is enhanced.
