To provide a swivelling camera apparatus suitable for a stationary mount and a wall mount.
A housing 2 of the swivelling camera apparatus 1 has a stationary mount installation face 3 of a structure for the stationary mount and a wall mount installation face 4 of a structure for the wall mount. Further, the housing 2 is provided with a dome cover 8 for constituting a photographing window that is directed in a direction tilted with respect to a horizontal direction in the stationary attitude and the wall mount attitude. The camera is installed to be capable of photographing an external place from the photographing window. A camera swivelling device is contained in a dome and has a pan swivelling shaft by using the horizontal direction for a reference direction. The photographing window is directed in a proper direction in the stationary mount and the wall mount. Since the pan swivelling shaft is set with respect to the horizontal direction as the reference direction, vertical movement of the visual line is little at panning.
