Abstract:
To synthesize a radioactive halogenated small molecule for the protein labeling used in in-vitro diagnostic measurement of ferritin concentration in serum.
In order to synthesize a radioactive halogenated small molecule represented by the formula: *X-X-Ar-R (*X is a radioactive isotope, for example, I, Br, F or At; Ar is an aromatic or heterocyclic aromatic ring and R is a short-chain substituent having a functional group which does not strongly activate the ring on which a radioactive isotope is substituted and is suitable for including a protein, the functional group is substituted with an organometallic group to convert the precursor of the product to the functional group. Simultaneously the metallic group is removed and the functional group containing product is subjected to the halo-demetallization process in order to substitute the radioactive isotope.
