Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a synthetic resin providing a skin material of vehicle having extremely low burning rate.
CONSTITUTION: N-Methylolacrylamide (a crosslinkable monomer) is polymerized with butyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, acrylic acid and itaconic acid to give a water dispersion of a copolymer, which is blended with potassium hydroxide to neutralize carboxyl group in the copolymer and mixed with sodium hexametaphosphate to give a mixture. Moquette woven fabric of polyester is coated with the blend and dried to give a skin material of vehicle.
