To provide a synthetic resin net-like body which has high strength and impact durability against an impact of a heavy load, caused by a rock fall etc., and which is effective for rock fall protection.
This synthetic resin net-like body for rock fall protection, which has hexagonally-patterned meshes, is netted by using a polyester monofilament as a component material, and used for the prevention rock fall. The tensile strength and tensile elongation of the polyester monofilament, which constitutes the net-like body, are measured; and a relationship between the tensile strength and the tensile elongation is indicated on a graph by making a longitudinal axis indicate the tensile strength and making a lateral axis indicate the tensile elongation. In this case, tensile break work, which is indicated by an area of a portion surrounded by a tensile strength-elongation curve, the lateral axis, and a perpendicular line perpendicularly dropped onto the lateral axis from a point of tensile rupture, is set at 1,000 kg/mm2% or more.
