In this system of analyzing the purchase behavior of the customer, the detail purchase behavior including a moving direction of the customer and a moving speed thereof are grasped by a system with noncontact type IC tags 102 attached to shopping carts 110 and cages, with IC tag readers 103 arranged with an equal interval in a floor in the store, and for measuring reception information from the plurality of IC tag readers and time serial transition of a reception level. Customer characteristic information such as an age and the distinction of sex of the customer is also automatically acquired to be correlated with the IC tag information of the cart and the cage used by the customer. A high level of analysis is thereby possible for grasping the purchase behavior a customer class by a customer class of a target, for display thereof, for grasping an article preference tendency, and for the like.
