Abstract:
To attain satisfarting printing of a printer at all time by enabling suitable calibration through a host computer in an information processing system wherein only one-sided communication from the host computer to the printer is enabled.
When a printer 2 judges the necessity of calibration, it is displayed on the display part of an operation instructing part 22. Corresponding to this display, a user instructs the printer to measure the density for calibration so that density information provided through the display on the side display part can be inputted through a real density input part 13 of a host computer 1. Based on this input, calibration by a density correction table is performed.
