An electric equipment management server 6 attaches a different product URL address to each article 11 to be processed, and a page of each product URL address is given on an information network 7, with operating condition information being registered on each page. At the electric equipment 2, an article identification barcode number attached to a barcode card 12 linked to the article 11 is read from the card and a barcode conversion server 3 for a particular server URL address is accessed to transmit the barcode number thereto. The barcode conversion server 3 converts the barcode number into a product URL address initially allotted to each barcode number and a page of the corresponding product URL address is accessed to operate the electric equipment 2 in accordance with an operating condition registered on that page.
