To provide a system for monitoring laundry equipment operational status for eliminating the necessity of a user to go to a coin-operated laundry, to directly confirm the operational status of the laundry equipment, by surely grasping the operational status of the laundry equipment installed in the coin-operated laundry regardless of a manufacturer of the laundry equipment, opening the operational status of the laundry equipment to the public on the Web, and properly answering inquiries from the user by mail.
The system comprises the laundry equipment 20 installed in the coin-operated laundry 2; a sensor unit 30 for detecting ON/OFF of the laundry equipment 20; and a server 4 for comparing ON/OFF information of the laundry equipment 20, transmitted from the sensor unit 30 via a network 3 and previously stored operating characteristics of the laundry equipment 20, determining the operating status of the laundry equipment 20, and disclosing the operating status to the public in the network 3.
