Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operator to always use the top of a table effectively by storing a coordinate input device below the table top so that the table top is seamless and flat and the coordinate input device can be used as it is.
SOLUTION: A top plate 7 has a storage part (opening part) 15 formed by cutting the center part to a size a little larger than the external size of the coordinate input device 13. On the reverse surface of the top plate 7, metal fittings 17 are fitted with screws as a receiving member for holding the coordinate input device 13 in the storage part 15. Thus, the coordinate input device 13 is fixed while stored in the storage part 15 and a coating sheet 19 covering the whole table is set thereupon. This constitute the top part of the table. A glass plate is usable as the coating sheet 19. In this case, the top surface of the table part 3 is formed flatly of the coating sheet 19 in a seamless state, so the table top can effectively be used to improve the operability.
