To provide a tapping nozzle device for a cold crucible melting furnace allowing a solidified lump left at the lower end of a tapping nozzle to be excellently eliminated from the nozzle by heating after tapping and preventing the insulating coating of an eliminating coil from being burnt at that time.
The tapping nozzle device 18 for the cold crucible melting furnace is constituted to perform high frequency induction melting of solidified metal solidified at the bottom part 16 of a crucible, by a nozzle coil to tap molten metal in the crucible. The nozzle coil 22 is provided with the eliminating coil 24 for eliminating the solidified lump k-1 left at the lower end of the nozzle 20 by high frequency induction heating. The eliminating coil 24 is arranged at the lower end of the nozzle 20 in such a state that the lower end of the eliminating coil 24 is located at the lower end of the nozzle 20 and that the upper end of the eliminating coil 24 is located at a height of 0.5D-2D (D= the bore of the nozzle 20) from the lower end of the nozzle 20. A weight of 10 kg(mass) or more is hung from the solidified lump k-1, and a current is carried to the eliminating coil 24 to eliminate the solidified lump k-1.
