Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the wrong use of trunk line originating by putting no restrictions on speech in a dormitory building (extension) and dormitory rooms (extension) at all but putting restrictions on trunk line originating in the private telephone system installed in a dormitory or the like.
CONSTITUTION: When a telephone set reads personal information from a magnetic card, where personal information is stored, and transfers it to an exchange, a central controller 8 of the exchange discriminates whether received personal information allows the call to a public network line or not; and when it allows this call, the telephone set from which personal information is transferred is set to such state that the call can be originated to a public network line. If the telephone set originates the call without transferring personal information to the exchange, the central controller 8 of the exchange does not permit the telephone set 1 to originate the call to the public network line.
