Abstract:
1. A device for recording and playing back a television signal which does not contain any line synchronising pulses during the image sweep characterized in that together with the television signal a PCM signal is recorded, the bit clock of which is coupled the line frequency, and that during play back the regenerated bit clock serves as the clock signal for recreating the line synchronising pulses (H1, H2) during the image sweep.
