A temporary fixing tool 1 for but welding is composed of a handle part 3 provided with a bolt attaching recessing part 2 on the top end side, a bolt part 4 attached attachably and detachably on the bolt attaching recessing part 2 of the handle part 3 and an engaging member 7 fixing the handle part 3 and the bolt part 4. The bolt part 4 has a projection part 9a which is projected to the outside of axial direction when it is attached on the handle part 3 and a nut screwing screw 11 formed on the projection par 9a.
