Abstract:
To provide a tension application device capable of adjusting a tension applied to a continuous sheet.SOLUTION: A tension application device (20), which is mounted on a conveyance device (10) having an unwinding roller (12) for unwinding a continuous sheet (P) and a winding roller (13) for winding the continuous sheet (P) wound from the winding roller (12), and applies a tension to the continuous sheet (P) between the unwinding roller (12) and the winding roller (13), includes a guide rail (23) inclined downward toward the continuous sheet (P), a slider (24) slid along the guide rail (23), a tension bar (25) that is supported on the slider (24) and is brought into pressure-contact with the continuous sheet (P) by self-weight of the slider (24), and angle adjustment mechanisms (21, 22 and 28) for adjusting an inclination angle of the guide rail (23) relative to the horizontal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
