Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device, etc., capable of smoothly switching screens.SOLUTION: A terminal device according to the present invention comprises a communication unit, a storage unit, a display unit, a first calculation unit, a second calculation unit, and a display control unit. The communication unit receives a screen image from a server device. The storage unit stores the screen image received by the communication unit. The display unit displays the screen image stored by the storage unit. The first calculation unit calculates, on the basis of a data amount for a one screen equivalent of the screen image determined from the screen size of the display unit and an available bandwidth pertaining to communication with the server device, a switching termination time at which screen image switching terminates. The second calculation unit calculates, on the basis of a screen image switching time obtained from the screen size and screen image switching speed and the switching termination time, a switching start time at which screen image switching starts. The display control unit reads out the screen image from the storage unit and displays the read screen image on the display unit at the switching speed after elapse of a switching start time after a switching operation by a user is received.
