A cutting tool 10 is inserted, through the opening part of the double pipe 1, into the double pipe 1 formed by disposing the inner pipe 3 in the outer pipe 2 so that the inner wall 2a of the outer pipe 2 with a large diameter and the outer wall 3a of the inner pipe 3 with a small diameter are formed integrally with each other at a joining part 4 to cut the joining part 4, move the end part of the inner pipe 3 to the center part of the outer pipe 2 while dividing the double pipe into the outer pipe 2 and the inner pipe 3, and remove the portion of the outer pipe 2 where the joining part 4 is cut out.
