Abstract:

To individually and easily instruct output control of broadcast radio waves from a studio device (master station device) to a plurality of transmission sites (relay apparatuses).

When generating an ISDB-T broadcast TS by means of a multiplexer A2, in a studio device A, an NSI generated by an NSI generating section A3 is described in an IIP of the broadcast TS. When there is an output control requirement to a certain relay station, the relay station is described as equipment-id of the NSI by the NSI generating section A3. In a transmission site B, a controller B2 extracts the IIP from the ISDB-T broadcast TS transmitted from the studio device A, detects the NSI and detects a description of a relay station ID therefrom. The description is then compared and collated with a relay station ID applied beforehand, it is determined whether there is a matched ID and if there is the matched ID, stop of output is selectively instructed to a transmitter B4.
