Abstract:
To provide a tether capable of further reducing the burden of avoidance of collision with an operational satellite and the like and the risk of the collision, and an artificial satellite.SOLUTION: A tether 10 is made of a member, the lengthwise area of which is at least partially destroyed or caused to disappear by exposure to atomic oxygen.
