Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve an output in an intermediate medium Rankine cycle, by extracting gas from a turbine corresponding to a temperature rise of liquefied natural gas (LNG) while heating the LNG to increase its temperature in a turbine exhaust condenser further heating the LNG to increase its temperature in an extracted gas heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A plant, pressurizing liquefied natural gas (LNG) from a tank 1 by a pump 3 to be heated by a condenser 5, extracted gas heat exchanger 7 and a heat exchanger 9 and expanded in an LNG turbine 11, generates power. A medium turbine 20 extracts gas from its intermediate stage to be condensed in the extracted gas heat exchanger 7. The plant discharges exhaust of the turbine 20 to the condenser 5 to be pressurized by a pump 26 and returned to a medium evaporator 28. In this way, the plant, enabling a thermally utilizing temperature of the LNG to be high increased, can improve an output in an intermediate medium Rankine cycle.
