Abstract:
To provide a thermal recording body which has a sufficient water resistance to the water of rain or the like and to humidity on the occasion of being used outdoors and besides is excellent in printing running properties (head tailings, sticking) and sensitivity.
In the thermal recording body constituted by laying sequentially a protective layer on a thermal recording layer provided on a substrate and containing a colorless or light-colored electron donating leuco dye and an electron accepting developer, the protective layer is made to contain a carboxyl modified polyvinyl alcohol, an epichrolohydrin resin and a melamine resin.
