PURPOSE: To obtain a thermoplastic conductive paper having excellent conductivity, processability, electromagnetic shielding property, strength, etc., and suitable as a material for preventing occurrence of static electricity, etc., by blending a specific conductive fiber with a thermoplastic synthetic pulp and core-sheath type conjugated fiber and making the blend into a paper.
CONSTITUTION: 3-60wt.% conductive fiber obtained by plating a synthetic fiber (preferably nylon fiber) having ≤2mm, preferably 0.3-1.0mm average fiber length with copper and plating with nickel thereon is blended with 20-90wt.% thermoplastic synthetic pulp (preferably obtained by processing polyethylene, etc., into a fibrous form) and 5-70wt.% core sheath type conjugated fiber (preferably obtained by using a high-melting fiber as a core fiber such as polypropylene fiber and low-melting point resin as a sheath and applying the sheath to the core fiber) and the blend is made into a paper to provide the thermoplastic conductive paper. When heat fusible polymer is impregnated and/or applied to the above-mentioned conductive paper, the heat-fusible conductive paper improved in heat fusible property is obtained.
