To provide a thread supply device for supplying a thread to a knitting machine or weaving machine by stably rotating a bobbin having no shaft part, without vibrating it when supplying the thread.

The thread supply device includes: a pair of rotary disks 31 and 32 mounted on a pair of base portions 21 and 22 disposed facing each other on a table 10 so as to be freely rotatable, and fixes the bobbin 2 by holding both end faces of the bobbin 2; an aligning mechanism 40 for aligning the rotation axes of the rotary disks 31 and 32 with the axial center of the bobbin 2; and a rotary mechanism 50 for rotating the bobbin 2 held by the pair of rotary disks 31 and 32 by rotating the rotary disk 31. The aligning mechanism 40 has a plurality of pawl members 41 configured to be freely slidable in the radial direction of the rotary disk 31. By engaging this pawl member 41 with the bobbin 2, the rotation axis of the rotary disk 31 is aligned with the axial center of the bobbin 2.
