To provide a reactance variable and three-phase integrated type electromagnetic apparatus which improves three-phase balance.
A basket-shaped magnetic core is formed by connecting both end portions of each of six linear leg part iron cores which are disposed in an annular shape symmetrically at equal intervals, via a pair of annular yokes. An AC main winding wire is wound around each of the leg part iron cores of the basket-shaped magnetic core and in the annular yokes, a DC control winding wire is wound between connecting parts with the leg part iron cores. The main winding wires around the leg part iron cores which are opposed symmetrically, are paired to conduct a three-phase AC, a DC control current is supplied to the control winding wire, and magnetic resistance in a common magnetic path of a main magnetic flux caused by a three-phase AC main current and a control magnetic flux caused by a DC control current in the basket-shaped magnetic core is controlled, thereby adjusting reactance of the AC main winding wire.
