PURPOSE: To automatically weave a tire-cord fabric comprising a fabric body portion having different pick densities from that of tab portions by automatically inserting a temple through a control device, changing pick densities and controlling an air cylinder nozzle pressure.
CONSTITUTION: In weaving a tire cord woven fabric comprising a fabric body portion having 1-3.5 ppi pick densities and tab portions having 3.5-50 ppi pick densities at each end of the fabric body portions by an air jet loom, a control device judges whether a tab portion should be inserted or not by comparing a preregistered woven fabric length with a measured yard length which is inputted from a correction device and indicated by a control signal. In the case of requiring tab insertion, the control device outputs a control signal for making the temple act from a disengaged state from a woven fabric to an engaged sate with the woven fabric through a pneumatic cylinder, adjusts an air pressure to supply a weft of fixed denier for a tab and changes pick densities and warp tensions through a take-up roller to automatically weave tab parts in different pick densities.
