Title:
KEYLESS STEERING LOCKING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5914562
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform unlocking of a lock automatically and reliably, by a method wherein an alarm is raised and an actuator is reactuated when a locking rod does not move to an unlocking position even after the lapse of a given period of time after generation of an unlocking signal.

CONSTITUTION: When a plurality of manual switches 51W56 of an input circuit 50 is pressed in a given order and the unlocking switch 61 of an unlocking circuit 60 is pressed, a flip-flop 68 is set and a locking rod is moved to an unlocking position by turning a motor 22 positively. When the locking rod does move to the unlocking position even after the lapse of a fixed period of time after setting of the flip-flop 68, the flip-flop 68 is converted into a setting state three times and the motor 22 is actuated three times by outputs of counters 76 and 77 and a voice alarm is given by a voice circuit 100. When the locking rod comes to the unlocking position, a switch 27 is turned ON and an ignition circuit is electrified. When a suspension switch 91 is pressed, electrification to the ignition circuit 81 is suspended and locking of a lock is performed by inverting the rotation of the motor 22.
