Abstract:

PURPOSE: To manufacture a tying tape of superior tensile strength, knot strength and resistance to fibrillation and a tape with lines of superior mechanical strength.

CONSTITUTION: A tape composed of aliphatic polyester having a melt viscosity of L×103-4×104 poise at the temperature of 190°C and the shearing speed of 100sec-1 and a melting point of 70-190°C is manufactured. Thus a tying tape for automatic tying of packaging strings of superior tensile strength and flexibility and having biodegradability in the case of being buried in soil or the like and useful for the purpose of packaging heavy materials and also a tape with lines of superior mechanical strength are manufactured.
