Abstract:
PURPOSE: To switch and connect plural kinds of keyboard according to the purpose and to use it for one input device by loading a necessary data table from outside.
CONSTITUTION: A conversion table, attribute table, etc., containing pieces information necessary for control over a keyboard 1 are loaded into the memory 9 from a host device or external storage device by a control part 7 according to the kind of a connected keyboard 1. Therefore, information matching with a replacing keyboard is reloaded into the memory 9 nearly every time the keyboard 1 is replaced, so various keyboards 1 are connected.
