Abstract:

To regulate the toe angle of right and left steering wheels by controlling a control valve by a control device according to the traveling condition, and expanding or contracting a hydraulic cylinder according to the opening/ closing condition of the control valve by the working force to be inputted in the hydraulic cylinder from a tire of the steering wheels.

When a vehicle is traveling, an electric control device 70 controls the opening/closing operation of solenoid valves 53, 63 according to the traveling condition. The working fluid flows from left oil chambers R1, R3 of hydraulic cylinders 30, 40 to left oil chambers R2, R4, or vice versa, to expand or contract the hydraulic cylinders according to the opening/closing condition of the solenoid valves 53, 63 by the working force (the fine oscillation to be generated in the tire, and the component of the self-aligning torque to be applied to the tire) to be inputted in piston rods 32, 42 of the hydraulic cylinders 30, 40 from the tire of right and left steering wheels 11, 12 through knuckle arms 13, 14 in the axial direction. The toe angle of the right and left steering wheels can be regulated thereby.
