Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved tool used in a coating work for an under platform.
SOLUTION: This tool is to hold a turbine blade (10) used when coating is applied on the under platform region of at least one turbine blade (10) having a platform (14). The tool contains at least one fixing tool (32) to hold at least one turbine blade when coating is applied. The fixing tool (32) comprises a base receiving part (34) to receive the turbine blade (10); and a cover (36) for the base receiving part (34). The base receiving part (34) and the cover (36) have respective openings (62) in a shape coinciding with the shape of an under platform region to which coating is applied.
