Abstract:
To provide a tool for opening and closing a shield for a helmet, which can stop a shield to a shell with free stop function.
The tool for opening and closing a shield to a shell constituting a helmet includes a guide member that is attached to the shell and openably and closably supports the shield, a fixing member that is arranged between the shell apart from the guide member and the shield and is fixed to the shield, a rotary member that is rotatably attached to the fixing member and is engaged with the shell, and a friction torque generation means 3 for generating a friction torque between the fixing member and the rotary member and stopping the shield to the shell using free stop function.
