Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a toothbrush which can reduce the manufacturing cost thereof while sufficiently ensures a slip preventing effect, and which can enhance the strength and rigidity against bending of a handle part so as to enhance the manipulability of the tooth brush.
CONSTITUTION: A handle part 9 is composed of a handle base 2 made of synthetic resin materials, and a rubber part 7 made of synthetic rubber materials. A front recess 11 and a rear recess 12 are formed in the handle base 2, near the distal end thereof, and a through hole 13 piercing from the front surface to the rear surface and making both recesses 11, 12 communicate with each other is formed in the base 1. Further, an annular recess 14 is formed in the base 2 near the proximal end thereof. Further, a communication passage 15 making the rear recess 12 communicate with the annular recess 14 is formed in the intermediate part of the base 2. A front slip preventing part 20, a rear slip preventing part and an annular lip preventing part 22 are formed by filling synthetic rubber material in the front, rear and annular recesses 11, 12, 14 having their surfaces substantially flush with the outer surface of the base 2.
