To improve cleaning effects of the back teeth and the rear sides of the teeth and efficiently remove the bacterial plaque by brushing of a toothbrush.
In a toothbrush which is formed by arranging a plurality of flat bristle bundles 1 at some intervals on a toothbrush head part 3 and forming a bristle implanted part 2, the bristle bundles positioned in the front end and the rear ends of the toothbrush head part 3 has a cross-sectional shape whose one part, at least, is approximately similar to those of the front and rear circumferential sides of the toothbrush head part 3 and therefore formed into semicircular dense bristle parts 5, 6 so that the toothbrush is provided with a superior cleaning force, using performance, and brushing feeling, and can clean the tooth face simultaneously with exhibiting superior bacterial plaque removal.
