To provide a torchon lace cloth having fashion properties improved by allowing a scalar at a patterned part to have a prescribed wave (weft wave) by pinching a part of the patterned part with a rubber yarn, and adding the weft wave in addition to a warp wave in a shrunk state of the margin part.

The torchon lace cloth 1 is obtained by knitting the pattern part 2 and the margin part 3 in parallel, inserting the rubber yarn 4 into the margin part 3 along the knitting direction, interknitting 5' the rubber yarn 4 or another rubber yarn 5 with the patterned part 2 for every right place so as to turn down 5" the rubber yarn at the top P to return to the original position. As a result, the warp wave is formed in the patterned part 2 and the weft wave is also formed. The patterned part 2 may be knitted into two layers so as to form a cross section in a Y-shape.
