Abstract:

To improve the alignment of an extremely thin wire and to achieve a high-density coil winding due to a complete automation of the coil winding.

A material 1 at a winding-starting position being supplied from a needle 2 is gripped by a gripper 3, and the upper and lower portions of the needle 2 and a wire 1 due to the reciprocating rotation of a wire guide ring 4 are clamped to a projecting part 4a of the annular wire guide ring 4 being driven by a plurality of drive roller 5. When the wire guide ring 4 is rotated, the wire 1 is pinched between a fixed guide plate 6 and a friction pad 7 that are provided at the upper portion of the wire guide ring 4, so that one side of the outer periphery is covered and an hence a winding-off position is regulated, and at the same time a slack after the winding-off is pulled toward the wire guide ring 4 and is wound around a core with improved alignment and high density. When the coil winding ends and the wire guide ring 4 stops, a gripper 11 with cutter descends for rotating the line-storing ring and the winding-end wire 1 is wound, and then the gripper 11 cuts the wire 1 and then rises and turns, thus collecting a remaining wire.
