Abstract:
To enable the fact that a torque detector is affected by a given or greater external magnetic field to be easily and reliably determined.SOLUTION: A torque detector 41 includes a torque detection unit 72 and a mechanical stopper 64. The torque detection unit 72 detects a magnetic change that corresponds to torque tr applied to a rotation unit 24, and outputs a torque signal Vr on the basis of its detected value. The torque signal Vr is a signal between a first signal lower-limit value VL1 that corresponds to the first lower-limit value TL1 of the torque Tr and a first signal upper-limit value VH1 that corresponds to the first upper-limit value TH1 of the torque Tr. The stopper 64 limits the torque Tr applied to the rotation unit 24 to a second lower-limit value TL2 larger than the first lower-limit value TL1 and a second upper-limit value TH2 smaller than first upper-limit value TH1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
