Abstract:
To provide a low-cost torque limiter that can dampen the rotational force of a material being unwound.SOLUTION: A torque limiter includes a tubular member 10 around which a material is wound, a support member 30 that rotatably supports the tubular member 10, and magnets 40 and 41 that can attenuate the tubular member 10 that rotates relative to the support member 30 by magnetic force. The magnets 40 and 41 are attached to one of the tubular member 10 and the support member 30, and the tubular member 10 or the support member 30 without the magnets 40 and 41 includes a gear 20 having an overhanging portion 20a overhanging in the radial direction. The gear 20 and the magnets 40 and 41 are arranged such that the magnetic force acting on the tubular member 10 fluctuates with relative rotation, and a cogging torque acts due to the fluctuation of the magnetic force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
