PURPOSE: To facilitate the analysis for the factor of a hang-up phenomenon, by resetting a trace control means starting FF and an MPU with a 1st resetting signal in a hang-up state to track the contents of a trace information memory means and transmitting a 2nd resetting signal.
CONSTITUTION: In a normal state a trace control circuit 2 is started by a trace start setting signal S0 via an FF 4. Then the write signal W1 received from the circuit 2 is stored in a trace information memory part 5 by the bus cycle start signal S1 received from an MPU. At the same time, the trace information is stored in the part 5 by an instruction given from an address production circuit 3. Then the hang-up informing signal Sh received from the MPU is detected by a reset production circuit 1'. Thus a back-up resetting signal Sa is sent to the CPU and the FF 4 for resetting them. Thus it is possible to hold the contents and the address of a register of the circuit 2 and to read out the contents of the part 5 via the MPU whose hang-up state is released.
