Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tracer having the same specific gravity as that of ground water to be measured and also to provide a ground water flow measurement method using the tracer which does not impart the initial velocity when the tracer is thrown in the ground water in order to accurately measure the three-dimensional flow direction and flow rate of the ground water.
SOLUTION: The tracer and ground water flow measurement method using the tracer according to the present invention comprise a tracer original material, a housing container for housing the tracer original material, ground water charged into the housing container and a deaerator, and are characterized in that plural tracer starting materials are housed in the housing container charged with the ground water, the housing in which the tracer original materials is housed is arranged in the deaerator, at least pressure reduction and release thereof are repeated to infiltrate and saturate the ground water into the tracer original materials, and the tracer starting materials are sank in water to extract only a tracer original material flowing into water, thereby forming the tracer.
